Islamic Relief Malaysia has organized Qurbani Meat Handover Ceremony for Deboning Process by Hadhari Cattle Industry Sdn Bhd at the Paya Pahlawan Abbattoir Complex, Jitra, Kedah on the 6th of July 2008.

The consignment of 20,000 mutton carcasses under the Islamic Relief Worldwide Qurbani Meat Canning Project was officially handed over to Hadhari Cattle Industry Sdn Bhd by Mr. Ahmed S. Hariri, the Regional Director of Islamic Development Bank. Hadhari Cattle was represented by the guest of honour, YB Ir. Hj. Phahrol Razi, Kedah State Exco Member for Rural Development, Entrepreneur, Public Works and Agriculture.

Also present at the ceremony was the Country Manager of Islamic Relief Malaysia, Mr. Zawahir Abdullah, Dr.Adel Sabir, the representative of Islamic Relief Worldwide, Maj. Gen (Rtd) Datuk Hashim Mohd Karim, President of Hadhari Cattle Industry Sdn Bhd,

>The meat deboning processing by Hadhari Cattle Industry is the 1st phase of the implementation of The Qurbani Meat Canning Project after the agreement was signed recently at Malaysian Parliament on 26th June 2008, between Islamic Relief Worldwide, Hadhari Cattle Industry Sdn Bhd and Pertima Trengganu Sdn Bhd.
