Ways to join in
The following illustration (using a fictional character) is an example of how people can get involved.Abdullah is a 23-year old computer operator from XYZ City who heard about the Waqf scheme from a friend. He telephoned Islamic Relief to find out more. Having saved for many months to buy a car, he was so impressed with the idea of benefiting the needy for years to come that he changed his plans. He decided that participating in the Waqf scheme would be more beneficial for him in the long-term. He telephoned Islamic Relief's donations department, and was able to make full payment for a single Health Waqf share using his credit card.
